Kade is an economist and public policy professional with a focus on the green economy, natural resource management and Southeast Asia.
Kade is currently a Research Scholar at the East Asian Bureau of Economic Research. He is researching the design and impact of natural capital markets in ASEAN.
Kade is also the Research Program Manager at the Australian Farm Institute. Kade oversees the AFI’s research agenda across trade, land use, sustainable development and productivity.
Kade has previously worked in government, advocacy and public policy. This includes roles at the National Farmers Federation, Australian Local Government Association and the Australian Government.
Kade has a Master of Environmental and Resource Economics from the Australian National University and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Sydney.
